“Following an extensive career in teaching at various year levels, Ms Karen Grant has held a number of senior positions within the Australian education sector. These positions include as a senior facilitator at the Centre for Excellence in Teaching where she developed and delivered professional learning to support teachers and school leaders from all levels of experience. Ms Grant’s career also included being an officer at the Western Australian College of Teaching (now the Teacher Registration Board) where she worked alongside senior educators to establish foundational teaching standards and quality monitoring systems. Ms Grant now works with a team of curriculum professionals at the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the statutory education authority for Western Australia) to support teachers and leaders from overseas schools, in a diverse range of countries, with implementation of the Western Australian curriculum through the provision of contextualised professional learning.”
